There are three towns located near us -
Approximately 60 km North-East of our campground you will find Pembroke; a small city with a lot of charm, founded in 1828 along the shores of the Ottawa River. Algonquin Park is nearby, with a visitor center and logging museum which depicts the logging history of Algonquin. A 43 km car ride away from Killaloe is Quadeville, which is known as a great place to hunt for gem stones and is the former home of Al Capone. Ontario's highest populated point is 15 minutes away from Quadeville in Foymount, where you can see for miles and miles. Finally, there is Barron Canyon with it's 100 m cliffs and spectacular view where you can enjoy family raft trips to high adventure tours, bungee jumping and mountain biking, all within an hour drive.
